Catching Redfish in November

Fall is here on Galveston Bay, and the fishing is really turning on.  The back lakes and bayous are full of redfish right now, and it is a great time of year to get families and kids out on the water and enjoy some of the action.  Saturday I had Mike, Raul, Chris, and two pretty little girls – 5 year old Juliana and 7 year old Nevaeh.  These little girls had a great time reeling in redfish and trout. The fish were caught on live shrimp and mullet.  We didn’t keep count, but it would be safe to say, we reeled in over 20 redfish, 12 trout, and a couple of flounder as well during the 5 hour trip.  Fishing is great this time of year.  The weather is awesome and the wildlife in the area is abundunt.  Ducks flying, Geese squalking, alligators, and even saw a rattlesnake crossing the bayou!  A great day on the water for sure.  If you would like to squeeze in a day of some great fishing, give us a call – 409-739-8526.
