Family Fishing Fun in Galveston

April 14, 2014

Here at Fishing Galveston Tx Fishing Charters we pride ourselves on being the premier Galveston Family Friendly Fishing Charter.  Being the top fishery on the Texas Gulf Coast, Galveston has become a top vacation destination for Families to enjoy.  Lately, most of our fishing has been the Jetty/Beachfront Fishing Charters.  Most trips we are getting full limits of sheepshead, which make great table fare for those looking to bring home their catch.  Not only are these fish great tasting, sheepshead are extremely exciting to catch.  Our most success has come free lining live shrimp along the jetty.  Sometime the fish are up tight to the granite rocks, and other times they are off a bit.  Once we find them - the action has been fast and furious!

This past month we have put Big Smiles of kids faces!  Our Galveston Fishing Charters cater to the family, and we make sure the kids catch allot of fish!  It is a great thing to hear when a kid tells their parents "My arms are sore from reeling in fish!"  As Galveston Fishing Guides - That is what we like to hear.

Along with the sheepshead, we are catching great numbers of Redfish on our Galveston Jetty Fishing Charters as well as our Bay fishing Charters.  Also the speckled trout are showing up.  As the water temps continue to warm up, the fishing will only get better.  Our best tactic for the Galveston Bay Fishing Trips is live shrimp fished under a popping cork.  We are locating our fish in 2 to 3 foot of water adjacent to oyster shell bottoms.

If you are looking for something to do with your family in Galveston and make memories of a lifetime, give us a call and let us show you a great time on Galveston Bay.  Our Family Friendly Fishing Guides will make you feel like you are a pro!  From first time fisherman to a lifetime experienced - we have a trip for you and your family and guarantee a great time on the water.... And kids.... well they will catch the most!
