Galveston Bay Fishing Report 3-4-12

This past weekend started off with the winds blowing upwards of 30 mph Saturday, so I had to reschedule Saturday’s trip.  Sunday, the weather was nice, and we caught some fish.  I had return customer Vincent and his family for a morning on Galveston Bay.  We got a late start because we had to wait on the live shrimp to get in.  All of the bait camps were out of live bait.  I am glad we dedided to wait, because it paid off with some real nice Bay Snapper (sheepshead).  The sheepshead are starting their annual spawn along the Galveston Jetties, and they are fun to catch, and good to eat!  Vincent’s 13 year old daughter also caught a wopping 42 inch Galveston Bull Red ! We also caught a Big Black Drum! It was a nice day to spend on Galveston Bay!
