With the large amounts of rain we had last month throughout the State of Texas, our rivers that feed the Galveston Bay System have poured a tremendous amount of freshwater into our bays. With the Trinity River as well as the San Jacinto river flowing at full banks from the rainfall in the Northern regions of Texas - Galveston Bay is experiencing the much needed 'Flush Out' we have been anxiously waiting during the past years drought. So the question remains 'How does this help our fishing in Galveston?' The answer is clear. The fish congregate at the regions of stable salinity levels and stack up. Our Galveston Fishing Guides know where these regions are, and how to catch the fish.
The Deep Sea Fishing out Galveston has been astounding for Giant Red Snapper, King Fish, Ling, Mahi Mahi, Sharks, Amber Jack, Barracuda, and more. We have been catching great numbers of fish closer in to shore (25 miles) and also targeting the Blue Water out 80 plus miles. Click to view one of our Blue Water trips this past week.
