Galveston Fishing Report
Summertime fishing in Galveston is on fire, and our Galveston Fishing Charters are reporting excellent catches of speckled trout, red fish, king fish, Spanish mackerel, red snapper, cobia, sharks and more.
This past week our Galveston Fishing Guides experienced some spectacular fishing and had full boxes of fish. Clean water has contributed to these great catches along with some very hungry fish. The Galveston Beachfront cleared up, and speckled trout action was on fire.
We are finding that the fish are responding better to live shrimp now, and the croaker action has slowed a bit. There were a couple of our fishing trips this past week, where we found ourselves limited out on speckled trout within 30 minutes! What do we do after that....? Go hunt for redfish! Summer fishing in Galveston is on fire!
Galveston Offshore Fishing this past week has been good. Seas were calm a couple of the days and we were able to venture out 80 miles! Our reward was some extremely nice Red Snapper! Along with the red snapper, we caught Spanish Mackerel and King Fish. As summer continues, we will be spending more and more days out in the Gulf of Mexico fishing for red snapper, king fish, cobia and mahi-mahi. The month of August we will be running a six hour king fish special! Check our website for details.
Waters are beginning to clear enough for our Night Time Galveston Flounder Gigging Charters to really light off. Summer time flounder gigging in Galveston can be a great adventure for families looking to get out on Galveston Bay during the cooler hours and beat the summer time heat.
Our Galveston Summer Kids Camps have been going great! This past week our kids caught tons of fish - redfish, speckled trout, flounder, blue crabs, cat fish, and they learned allot of cool stuff as well! We have opening for this Wednesday's Kids Camp! Check out the details here.
