Our Galveston Fishing Charters have started off with a bang this summer.  Some very nice trophy fish are being caught along the Galveston Jetty, Beachfront, Bays and Marshes and Deep Sea into the Gulf of Mexico.  All our Galveston Charter Boats have been busy covering almost every aspect of Galveston Bay and the Gulf.  Weather conditions greatly affect the areas we have been targeting.  The main factor that separate our Galveston Fishing Chartersfrom the rest is our ability to adapt to the everchanging conditions and put our customers in the best areas for the given day to have the most success… and that is exactly what we have been doing.

Summer is the time of year we can really catch awesome numbers of speckled trout and redfish along the Galveston Jetty and Beachfront.  Conditions have to be right, and we had a small open window of  right conditions since our last fishing report… and our customers smoked the fish!  Speckled trout, redfish, pompano, smacks and more were given ice naps – and happy customers left the dock with plenty of fresh fillets to last a long, long time.  Live Shrimp free-lined is a lethal rig when water clarity is right along the beachfront.  Lite winds is key for this to get right, and summer time is just now beginning – this is an exciting time of year.  Our Galveston Fishing Guides get very excited when clear water is found in the beachfront… they know what that means!Family Fishing Galveston

When the winds and water clarity do not cooperate with us for the jetty/beachfront – we target redfish, speckled trout, flounder, sheepshead and black drum in the back lakes and marshes.  These areas allow us to get our customers out on the water when the opens bays are too rough for clients.  Sea sickness is never an issue on a bay/marsh trip, and this area is away from the crowds and extremely kid friendly.  We also have crab pods set out for customers that would like to have some blue crabs for the grill or a crab boil.  Kids always have a great time pulling up a crab pod to see what is inside!

Galveston Red SnapperOur Deep-Sea Fishing Trips have been extremely successful since the opening of Red Snapper season on June 1.  Full limits of Giant Red Snapper have been caught each trip along with nice king fish, cobia, Spanish Mackerel, Amberjack and a few mahi-mahi.  We are now offering full and half day deep sea fishing trips.

Give us a call and book your Galveston Fishing Trip with one of our Professional Galveston Fishing Guides.  We are the #1 Family and Kid Friendly fishing charter on the Texas Coast.  409-739-8526 to talk with Captain Greg and see which trip will be best for your group.
