Galveston Kid Friendly Fishing Guide

October 30, 2012

November is a great month to get kids out on Galveston Bay.  I really enjoy November fishing with kids.  The temps are cooler.  There is no need in being out there at the crack of dawn, and there are allot of fish in Galveston Bay and Marsh.  This is my favorite time of year to be in the back lakes and marsh fishing for Texas redfish, trout and flounder.

This past Sunday, I had 8 year old Levi along with his Dad, PawPaw and family.  Levi caught allot of fish to the point he said "Captain Greg - my hands hurt from reeling in fish!"  That is music to the ear for a Galveston Fishing Guide.  Bringing kids fishing on the Texas Gulf Coast is my favorite part of being a Galveston Texas Fishing Guide.  How to bait a hook, take a fish off the hook, learning the different species of fish, and even how to fillet the fish - is lessons that kids learn on a guided fishing trip with us.  Lets get kids Hooked on Fishing!
