Flounder gigging with Captain Greg was such a great experience! Due to unforeseen changes in weather conditions, we had to post-pone 2 prior dates that were scheduled. So, it was actually our 3rd attempt at making the trip. I really appreciated Captain Greg’s communication prior to the trip. He was very honest and just wanted to make sure that conditions were favorable for a successful experience. He was always willing to go if we still wanted, but we definitely wanted to go knowing there was a chance for actually gigging. The trip was amazing from the start. He timed our meeting time so that we could enjoy the sun set on the ride out and it was such an amazing view. Once it was time to turn the lights on, he definitely knew where to find the fish. Everyone on the boat gigged their first flounder during the first run and it was awesome. Captain Greg works hard to make sure you get your fish. Even watching him clean all the fish at the end is impressive too! We all had a blast with him and can’t wait to go back for more!
