Memorial Day has always been a special holiday for me, but it wasn’t until I lost my Dad in 2012 that it really, really set in and took a personal meaning. There may be some that disagree with me, and that is ok. I know that the Memorial Day Holiday is meant to honor those that died while serving in the US Armed Forces. My Dad did not die during the Vietnam War… he made it back…. twice, but the nightmares, haunting, and the untreated PTSD that he suffered with for the rest of his life, and how he dealt with the things he saw, and had to do in that Hell of a place did ultimately cut my Dads life, Victor Lawrence Verm very short. I miss him very, very bad, and I have a very special place in my heart for Vietnam Vets. This year for the Memorial Day Holiday Weekend, I want to honor Vietnam Vets and my Dad with a Special Offer for $100 off a half day fishing trip if you are a Vietnam Veteran. This is a very busy weekend for us, but I hope to have a Vietnam Vet on my boat Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday of the Memorial Day Weekend. This is going to be something I hope to do every Memorial Day Weekend for the rest of my fishing career. I am going to call it ‘The Victor Verm Memorial Day Fishing Special’….. because I can. Thank You to all the Vietnam Veterans, and a special thanks to my Dad. Click here to book a Trip.
